Our client is a Series B immuno-oncology biotech, spun out of the ICR and Crick Institute in 2022. Their lead programme — a TCR-engineered cell therapy for solid tumours — has cleared Phase I/Ib and is preparing to commence a 60-patient Phase IIa across UK, US, and French sites. The VP, Clinical Development will be the medical executive accountable for the programme.
Responsibilities

Author and own the Phase IIa clinical development plan

Lead engagement with the MHRA, FDA, and EMA
- 03
Build a clinical operations function from 6 to 18 over 24 months
The Successful Candidate
- 01
MD or MD/PhD with board certification in Oncology or Haematology
- 02
Prior leadership of at least one IND or IMPD-stage programme
- 03
Direct experience of cell or gene therapy development
